Entry Point: Lyell Highway Bridge (A10) (Grid ref. DP 113 314). The usual starting point for Franklin River trips.
Exit Point: Franklin River confluence (Grid ref: DP 116 273). There is a track that leads up over Donaghys Hill to the Lyell Highway (Grid ref. DP 123 279). It is a hard walkout with kayaks.
Water Level: 0.8 m.-1.2 m at the Lyell Highway Bridge gauge.

General Description: This section is a good trip with some tricky grade 2-3 rapids, it is probably better done in conjunction with a Franklin River trip as the walkout at the end is quite difficult.
